Homemade Chili

Noodles or no noodles… that is the question!?

1 lbs burger (Turkey or Beef)
2 pkg chili mix packet
1 cans diced tomatoes
1 cans tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1-2 cup water
1 cup elbow noodles, raw


In a large pot, brown your burger (I use Turkey Burger). Once browned add one packet of Chili seasoning. Stir till fully incorporated.

Add in Kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, tomato paste, 2nd packet of chili seasoning and chili powder. Stir till it is completely mixed together.

Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t burn on the bottom.

Now this is where the noodles or no noodles comes into play! I do add noodles so this would be the time. Add your noodles and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until noodles are to your liking! If it is a bit thick add 1 cup water to thinnen it out a bit!

Serve with a dollop of sour cream, a little cheddar cheese and even avocado would be great! Enjoy!
