Down-Home Mac-n-Cheese

HUGE guilty pleasure! Don’t judge the block of processed cheese every once in a while!!!

Total: 35min

Bake: 20 min

Yield: 6-8 people


1/4 cup butter, divided

1/4 cup flour

1 cup milk

1/2 lb. (8oz) VELVETTA, cut into cubes

2 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar


Preheat oven to 350’

Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.

Whisk in flour, cook for 2 min, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and still for roughly 3 more minutes. It will thicken! Add in the VELVETTA cheese; cook 3 minutes or until melted. Stirring frequently.

Stir in macaroni. Spoon into 2-qt. Casserole sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with cheddar.

Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
