Puppy Chow

So fast and easy to make! Great snack for any occasion!

Servings: 9 cups

Ingredients:

9 cups Chex cereal
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup smooth peanut butter
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

I make this like my mother taught me when I was a child! Measure 9 cups of Chex mix and place in a paper bag. Yes, a paper bag 😊 Easy clean up and fun to do!

Over medium heat, melt and combined butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter, stir constantly till all melted and smooth.

Stir in vanilla.

Pour chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal in the paper bag in 3- 4 stages, shaking the bag and tossing around to coat the Chex mix.

Once you are done with the chocolate mixture pour the 2 cups of powdered sugar into the paper bag and shake, shake, shake!

Pour into a large bowl and serve. If you want to store it, place in gallon ziplocks and store in the fridge to keep it cool or out on the counter is fine too! We prefer to keep it cool, it sets the chocolate mixer and for some reason takes great cool!
