Wedge Salad

This recipe is meant to be adjusted to your specific liking! Anything and everything you want on your salad you can add or remove, so feel free to leave some of the ingredients out or even add your own! Feel free to change up the lettuce choice, as Iceberg has no nutritional value, but easiest to do a wedge salad with.

Total: 20 min
Active: 10 min
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 head of iceberg lettuce
1 bell pepper
½ cup cheddar cheese
6 pieces of bacon cooked and cut up
¼ red onion (raw)
Fresh strawberries cut up
Walnuts, chopped
Homemade Italian Croutons (click for link to my recipe)
Salad dressing of your choice
Any other toppings you think you would like

Directions:

Take the head of lettuce, wash and remove stem. On a cutting board, slice the head of lettuce into 4 even parts. Place on a plate or in a nice serving bowl.

Chop up all your veggies that you would like to put on your salad. Pour all your toppings into individual bowls so everyone can build the salad to their liking. Top with dressing of your choice.

Super simple and light dinner. Quick and easy for those busy nights!

Enjoy!
