So this past year my husband and I road-tripped it from Wisconsin all the way down to Gulf Shores, Alabama. One thing we love to do is to eat only at places that are not food chains. The places that we typically eat at are places we see on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on TV!
So half way down we stopped in Nashville, TN for a day and HAD to eat at Hattie B’s! Famous for their amazing “Hot Chicken.” Oh my gosh! It was awesome! We each had the Hot Chicken and sides that included pimento mac-n-cheese, collared greens, baked beans and of course we had to wash it down with southern sweet tea! There is no tea as good as southern sweet tea!
If you are ever traveling in the Nashville area do not miss out on eating at Hattie B’s. The lines might be really long but it SO worth the wait!!!
