Total: 15 min
Active: 15 min
Yield: 1 Pint

Ingredients:

1 ¼ stick butter unsalted
1 large carton of heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon black pepper; to taste
1 clove of garlic- softened
1 ½ – 2 cups parmesan
Pinch of salt

Directions:

On medium heat melt butter in large skillet till it turns a little brown. Wisk in softened clove of garlic. Once it is bubbling add 1 carton of heavy whipping cream. Keep wisking to combine the butter mixture with the heavy whipping cream.

When it comes to a boil add in 1 teaspoon of black pepper and a pinch of salt.

Wisk in 1 ½ cups of parmesan till parmesan is fully melted. Taste, if you feel it can use a little more parmesan cheese feel free to add a little more. There is no exact science to excellent alfredo!

That is it! Toss in with your pasta for a scrumptious chicken alfredo or serve it as a side to dip your pizza crust or breadsticks in!

Enjoy!
