Easy Healthy Homemade Granola

This healthy homemade granola recipe is fantastic on an Acai bowl or your favorite yogurt! It’s super simple, healthy, and absolutely delicious.

Prep Time: 10 min, not even

Bake Time: 15-20 min

Total Time: 25 minutes 

Yields: 6-8 servings


2–3 tablespoons real maple syrup

2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil (or other healthy cooking oil)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 large pinch of Kosher salt

2 cups whole old-fashioned oats

½ cup raw nuts, chopped

1 teaspoon cinnamon


Preheat the oven to 300º F (177° C).

Combine the oil and maple syrup, vanilla extract,  and salt in the bottom of a large and give it a quick stir.

Add the rest of the dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon.

Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a rimmed baking sheet or sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes until very lightly toasted.

Cool 15-20 minutes before serving.
