It’s that time of year again where we are carving pumpkins with our kids! What a great opportunity to clean the pumpkin seeds, roast them and season them with your favorite flavors! Free healthy snacks!
Prep: After seeds are clean, 5 min
Bake: 45 min
Total: 50 min
3 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons butter, melted
2 teaspoons salt
Seasoning of your choice: Powdered Ranch, Salt & Pepper, Cinnamon & Sugar, Cayenne Pepper, anything you want to use
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Toss seeds in a bowl with the melted butter and salt. Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet, season with which ever seasoning you would like. In my example above I split my seeds and did half Kosher Salt and the other half is Cinnamon & Sugar! Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown; stir occasionally.
