Grilled Cheese with Apple and Bacon

Yield:  2 servings


Ingredients:

4 slices sourdough bread
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
6 slices cooked bacon, anything you love works
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced thinly
4 slices provolone cheese, or any cheese you love
2 tablespoons butter
Kosher salt and pepper



Directions:

Spread dijon mustard on 4 slices of sourdough bread.

Top with sliced provolone cheese, cooked bacon and sliced Granny Smith apple, then top with 4 more slices bread.

Butter the sandwiches, then cook in a skillet over medium-low heat until the cheese melts and the bread is golden, about 3 minutes per side.
