1 package crescent rolls
1 package hot dogs, halved crosswise
1 large egg, beaten
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and lightly oil a large baking sheet.
Cut hotdogs in half and insert stick in the bottom half way up the hotdog. Pat dry with a towel.
Take the crescent roll dough and lay out one triangle at a time and cut 1/4”-1/2” strips long ways.
Wrap each piece around a hot dog half, tucking and pressing the edges to seal; place on the baking sheet.
Brush the dough-wrapped dogs with the beaten egg; sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Bake until golden, 8 minutes.
