Never cook with a wine that you don’t enjoy drinking!
Tonight we will be taking looking at this new wine we tried. This is a new one for us that we have not tried before and really enjoyed. It is called Coastal Estates BV, a California made wine in 2016.
“Coastal Estates BV Chardonnay shows classic varietal charm, delivering fresh pear and tropical fruit woven together with toasty oak spices. The palate is supple and round, evolving in layers of pineapple, red apple and vanilla. Lees stirring and partial malolactic fermentation lend depth and texture to the vibrant flavors. Juicy and long, the wine shows lovely grace and sensibility that make this a favorite from start to finish.”
Besides Chardonnay they make several different types of wines. Whether you are a red wine or white wine drinker, they have a wine for you! They have Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nior, Red Blends, and Sauvignon Blanc.
We invite you to check out their website. They have great recipes to try with pairings of their wine. We will be checking it out and posting them on our blog as we try them!
One other thing I would love to talk about that I LOVE on their site is their “Save the Ocean” campaign. For ever bottle of wine we purchase they will donate $1 to Oceana. I have posted information about Oceana below from their site. This is near and dear to my heart as we are huge ocean lovers and believe in protecting the ocean. Coastal Estates BV will donate up to $50,000 a year!! Amazing!!
