Total: 35 min
Cook: 20 min
Yields: 2 servings

Ingredients:

12 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella
3 ounces sliced ham, cut into strips
3/4 cup pineapple chunks, cut 1/4 inch thick
1 cup hot, cooked cheese tortellini, tossed with olive oil
1 tablespoon torn fresh basil
1 tablespoon melted butter
Garlic salt
Grated Parmesan, for topping
Crushed red pepper flakes, for topping

Directions:

Put a pizza stone in the oven (or an upside-down baking pan) and preheat the oven according to dough package.

Lay a large square of parchment paper on a work surface with the pizza dough on top. Pull and stretch the dough into a 14-inch round; poke the dough a few times with a fork. Use a pizza peel or a flat cookie sheet to transfer the parchment paper with the dough to the oven. Bake until pale golden, This is important, do NOT over do 🙂

Remove the pizza from the oven, drizzle with the olive oil and spread the tomato sauce on top, leaving a 1-inch border all around. Sprinkle with the mozzarella, then distribute the ham, pineapple and tortellini evenly all around. Return to the oven and bake until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted, 8 to 10 minutes more roughly.

Top the pizza with the torn basil, grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes.

Brush melted butter along the edges and sprinkle with garlic salt.

Cut into slices and serve immediately.

Enjoy!

Note: We also made a Turkey pepperoni & pineapple one!
