Who loves Italian food!
When we were down in Gulf Shores we ate at a ton of places as you can see! One night instead of seafood we were hungry for pizza! I don’t know about you, but wood fire pizza is our ultimate favorite kind of pizza! We found this cute place called Tuscany Pizza & Grill. From the outside it is a very cozy place with nice outdoor seating to really enjoy the beautiful southern weather.
The atmosphere inside was great. It was very clean and spacious. It felt like little Italy inside. The waitstaff was very friendly and their menu had great things to choose from. We started out with the cheese and charcuterie board. It consisted of a lot of our favorites like Gorgonzola, parmesan, pecorino, mozzarella, salami, prosciutto crudo, prosciutto cotto. It was an awesome choice to enjoy a nice glass of red wine with.
We then ordered a pizza of course. We ended up going with the Margherita pizza, which was made with tomatoes, mozzarella, and fresh basil. It was very good. There is nothing like fresh mozzarella and basil that really ties this pizza together.
There is so many things to try on their menu like pasta, pizza, salmon, steak, lamb, and of course desserts! When you are ever in the Gulf Shores area check out Tuscany Pizza and Grill! You won’t be disappointed!
