Do we have an wino’s out there?
Today we visited Baraboo Bluff Winery in Baraboo, WI. We found out about this winery from a co-worker of mine at work! Thank you Renee! Today they opened at 11am so we went right away so that we could hit another winery afterwards. This winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Baraboo. On the grounds there is beautiful grapes being grown, we bet that it is just beautiful when the grass is green and the vines are blooming come Spring!
Inside the tasting room you will find a nice and cozy atmosphere, very industrial chic. There is three options for wine tastings.
Option 1: For $5 you get a wine glass and can taste all the wines they have, which I believe is around 11
Option 2: For $3 you can taste 5 wines
Option 3: For FREE you can taste up to 3 of their wines
So of course we paid the $5 and got the glass and sampled all 11 of their wines. Ranging from dry to sweet and a combination of reds and whites was simply delightful. Their wines are mainly sweet fruity wines that we could picture porch drinking with in the Summer. They also pair one of the last wines with a chocolate meltaway candy from the Baraboo Candy Co. which was so yummy.
After the wine tasting we actually went to the Baraboo Candy Co. to check out what other types of candy they had. We picked up Cow Pies, mint meltaways, toffee, and pecan turtles. Chocolate is awesome!
We suggest if you are ever in the area, defiantly check out the Baraboo Bluff Winery! You will love it!
